I would like to acknowledge and congratulate Warrior4God Physician Services fighter of the Month Gervonta “Tank” Davis. On April 21st, 2018 Gervonta Davis successfully won the WBA Super featherweight Championship of the world for a second time. He TKO’d tough Argentinian Jesus Cuellar in the 3rd round of their championship fight. Gervonta used a combination of hand speed, power punching to the head and body, high boxing IQ and his Upton fighting spirit; knocking down Jesus Cuellar three times in route to a 3rd stoppage. Gervonta grew up in the Upton Boxing gym and has been trained by Coach Calvin Ford and Kenn Ellis for his entire career. Gervonta showed once again that it’s only one way, the Upton way; Gods way.
